Job Summary:

The Equipment Engineer is responsible for maintaining, improving, and optimizing equipment used in the production of Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCC). This role ensures high equipment reliability, supports process stability, and drives automation and technology upgrades to meet production and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans for MLCC production equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Lead installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment.
  • Collaborate with vendors for equipment upgrades and technology improvements.
  • Work with Process Engineers to optimize equipment parameters for yield and quality improvement.
  • Implement automation solutions to enhance productivity and reduce manual intervention.
  • Maintain equipment manuals, maintenance records, and calibration logs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and ISO/IEC requirements.

Qualification and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of previous working experience in the process engineering area
  • Having experience with MLCC production is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of MLCC production equipment and automation systems.
  • Familiarity with PLC programming, robotics, and control systems.
