About the role

Celestica, a leading global manufacturing services company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer Analog E&E Design to join our team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. This full-time position is a crucial role within our Electrical/Electronic Engineering division, contributing to the strategic goals and ongoing success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, develop and test analog and mixed-signal electronic circuits and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of complex electronic systems
  • Perform simulations, prototyping, and validation testing to validate design performance
  • Document and communicate design progress and findings to stakeholders
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in analog and mixed-signal electronic design
  • Electrical & Electronic: Schematic & PCB CAD Design (OrCAD, Cadence Concept/Allegro, Altium Designer); Digital Design (Microprocessor, FPGA, DSP); Analog Design (Power Supply, Signal Conditioning, RF/Wireless, Power Electronic); System Architecture; Derating; Design for EMC/EMI; IEC medical device safety); High Speed Signal/Power Integrity; PID Control System (bonus).
  • Strong background in circuit design, simulation, and testing for analog and mixed-signal systems
  • Proficient in the use of electronic design automation (EDA) tools such as Altium, Cadence, or SPICE
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Thorough understanding of electronic components, PCB design, and manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electronic product design and certification
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
