Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Clinic Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily clinical operations, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), meeting performance targets (KPIs), and delivering excellent patient care and service.

Administrative Duties:

  • Greet patients and manage front desk operations with professionalism and warmth
  • Handle appointment bookings, patient registration, and follow-up scheduling
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records (physical and/or digital)
  • Manage phone inquiries, emails, and other communications
  • Collect payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily transactions

Clinical Support (as trained and required):

  • Assist doctors during patient consultations or procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sanitation according to SOP
  • Take basic vitals such as temperature, blood pressure, height, and weight
  • Assist in inventory management and stock-taking of medical supplies

Compliance & Operations:

  • Follow and uphold clinic's SOPs related to hygiene, patient data handling, safety, and workflow
  • Monitor and ensure the clinic's cleanliness and readiness throughout the day
  • Assist in reporting incidents, irregularities, or feedback for service improvement
  • Participate in training and performance reviews
  • Excellent PR skills

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Patient registration and wait time management
  • Appointment scheduling accuracy
  • Inventory usage and wastage control
  • Patient satisfaction and feedback scores
  • SOP compliance rate (e.g., cleanliness, documentation, punctuality)

Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM/higher qualification an advantage
  • Prior experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and multitasking skills
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of medical or scheduling software is a plus
  • Willingness to adhere strictly to SOPs and meet defined KPIs
