Responsibilities

  • Review user-generated content on WeChat's public-facing features, including profile pictures, Moments posts, and shared external links;
  • Conduct manual spot checks of AI model-generated results to ensure accuracy and alignment with internal policies;
  • Label and curate training data to support the development of content moderation models;
  • Review user appeals related to content enforcement actions and make informed decisions based on platform guidelines;
  • Collaborate with policy and operations teams to refine content review standards and improve review efficiency and quality.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify policy-violating content across various content types
  • Good understanding of online content ecosystems and familiarity with social media
  • platforms;
  • Proficient in reading and understanding complex content in Mandarin Chinese;
  • Reliable, responsible, and able to manage repetitive tasks with accuracy;
  • Comfortable with potential weekend shift work and able to work under pressure;
  • At least 1 year of prior experience in content moderation, trust & safety, or a related field is
  • preferred.
