We are seeking highly motivated and well-qualified candidates to join our IT Internship Program and be part of our Software Development Team. This internship offers hands-on exposure and the opportunity to explore and experience a dynamic career in the IT industry.

Job Description:

As an IT Intern at ABS, you will:

  • Gain hands-on experience in in-house software application development.
  • Be involved in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including analysis, design, coding, and testing.
  • Raise and track bugs, and follow up on issue resolution until closure.
  • Liaise with the IT Development, Technical, QA teams, and Consultants.
  • Participate in the Company's personal and professional development programs.
  • Assist and support the IT team and other departments in resolving technical issues.
  • Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor or Team Lead.
  • Have the possibility of full-time employment upon successful completion of the internship.

Requirements:

  • Malaysian student currently in the final year of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong interest and basic knowledge in programming, particularly in Java, Javascript, JSP, MySQL, and Flutter.
  • Strong aptitude in Mathematics, Finance, Calculations, and Calculus
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, articulate, systematic, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Minimum internship duration of 20 weeks, subject to university requirements.
  • Willing to work on-site at MRANTI Park (formerly Technology Park Malaysia), Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.
