About the role

Mewah Group, a leading global agribusiness, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Pulau Indah, Selangor, Malaysia. What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and resolve engineering-related challenges
  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost analyses, and risk assessments to support project decision-making
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project stakeholders, including vendors and contractors
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation
  • Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering their professional development

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechatonic Engineering or a related technical field
  • 2 -3 years of relevant experience in project engineering, preferably in the manufacturing or Food industries
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex engineering projects
  • Proficient in project management software, CAD tools, and data analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality management systems
  • Adaptable, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
