Role Description:

The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that support business needs. This role involves writing clean, efficient, and scalable code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the full software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.

Key responsibilities include developing new features, fixing bugs, improving system performance, conducting code reviews, and ensuring high-quality technical standards. The Software Engineer also participates in technical discussions, contributes to system architecture decisions, and helps troubleshoot production issues when necessary. Depending on the project, this role may work on web applications, backend systems, databases, APIs, automation tools, or cloud-based services.

This role is suitable for analytical, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy problem-solving, building technology solutions, and working within collaborative engineering environments.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or similar.
  • Understanding of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Experience or familiarity with web technologies, APIs, databases, or backend systems.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with teams across engineering, product, and design.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, frameworks, or full-stack development is helpful but not required; training can be provided.
