Mandarin Teacher

Roles & Responsibilities The teacher shall report to the Principal and Deputy Principal and is responsible for carrying out professional duties in accordance with the school's policies and as directed by school leadership.

9. Involving parents in their children's learning through regular parent-teacher dialogue
10. Using relevant ICT to improve student learning and differentiate instruction
11. Maintaining accurate and complete records of students' progress and development
12. Demonstrating a high level of relevant curriculum knowledge
13. Incorporating relevant thinking and reflective skills into the curriculum
14. Preparing and presenting informative reports to parents and other stakeholders as required
15. Teaching all elementary grades in the school
16. Actively engaging in teacher learning and development
17. Continually seeking to improve learning and teaching strategies
18. Developing knowledge and skills related to primary education

19. Actively engaging in the school's appraisal procedures

21. Having a working knowledge of teachers' professional duties and legal liabilities

27. Taking part in marketing and liaison activities such as Open Days and stakeholder events
28. Carrying out any other reasonable request from a manager to undertake work of a similar level not specified in this job description

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language, Education, or related field.
• Teaching experience in Mandarin, preferably in primary/elementary school.
• Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in English.
• Knowledge of modern teaching methods and use of ICT in classrooms.
• Ability to plan lessons, assess students, and give feedback.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, responsible, and committed to student learning and development.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3, RM4,500.00 per month
