About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Control Junior Executive to join our team at HUP SOON PLASTIC INDUSTRIAL (M) SDN BHD in Ipoh, Perak. This full-time position will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our manufacturing processes and final products.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting thorough inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards
  • Documenting and reporting all quality-related data, including test results, non-conformances, and corrective actions
  • Collaborating with production teams to identify and address quality issues in a timely manner
  • Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures and processes
  • Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality assurance best practices
  • Analyzing quality metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensuring the company's quality management system is followed and continuously improved

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or Degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Proficient in data analysis and report writing
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g. ISO 9001)
