MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

JOB SUMMARY

To ensure that the implementation of M&E engineering works runs smoothly in accordance with technical specifications, project timelines, budgets, industry standards, and legal requirements.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Able to identify new project opportunities through industry networking and client relationships
  2. Capable of preparing proposals, quotations and presentations to secure new projects
  3. Proactive in conducting market studies & competitor analysis for M&E project opportunities
  4. Supervise and coordinate the installation of M&E project systems with contractors and consultants, including managing coordination
  5. Manage project execution and resolve site issues related to mechanical and electrical systems
  6. Manage and monitor tender participation
  7. Plan and review daily and weekly work schedules
  8. Review plans, specifications, variations, and technical documents
  9. Coordinate site meetings and ensure timely feedback to clients / consultants
  10. Manage project budgets and claims in collaboration with the QS and accounts teams
  11. Ensure compliance with laws, safety, industry standards, and company SOPs
  12. Supervise testing and commissioning (T&C) of electrical systems
  13. Liaise with Energy Commission, TNB, BOMBA, DOSH (JKKP), and other relevant departments

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  1. Strong leadership and effective communication skills
  2. Good time management and ability to work under M&E project pressure
  3. Technical knowledge in C&S / M&E projects, ST, BOMBA
  4. Decision-making and problem-solving skills

HEALTH REQUIREMENT

  1. Good physical and mental health
  2. Able to work under pressure
  3. Able to work at construction sites under various weather and environmental conditions
