About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Tax Team as Tax Associates. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in providing comprehensive tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse client portfolio. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of corporate and individual tax computations.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns (Forms C, B, BE, CP204, CP500, etc.) accurately and within statutory deadlines.
  • Liaise with the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) and handle tax correspondence promptly.
  • Manage client relationships effectively and respond to queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Compile information and supporting documents for tax audits and investigations.
  • Prepare and respond to general tax-related correspondences.
  • Organize work efficiently to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with seniors and managers to ensure tasks are completed accurately and meet client expectations.
  • Stay updated on latest tax developments and apply relevant changes in daily work.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; or partial professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, MIA).
  • Fresh graduates or candidates with less than one year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc)
