Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering primary healthcare, medical treatment, and emergency support to estate employees and their dependents. Ensures that all clinical operations adhere to Ministry of Health (MOH) standards as well as the company's health and safety policies.
  • Provide medical treatment, first aid, and clear guidance on proper medication usage.
  • Accompany and monitor critical patients during hospital referrals or transfers.
  • Ensure the clinic building, ambulance, and all medical equipment are safe, clean, and fully operational.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patients, treatments, and complaints.
  • Manage medical supplies and ensure all dispensing activities comply with Health Facility SOPs.
  • Oversee clinical waste management in accordance with FGVAS Health Facility SOP.
  • Prepare and submit monthly clinic reports and invoices to the respective estates.
  • Ensure clinic operating expenses remain within the approved annual budget.
  • Conduct health education programs and workplace health inspections.
  • Ensure adherence to FGVPM procedures and all relevant statutory health regulations.
  • Renew the Annual Medical Assistant Certificate and maintain the required CPD points yearly.
  • Ensure Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) sessions are conducted monthly and that service agreements are renewed every three years.

  • Akta 446 – Akta Piawaian Minimum Perumahan, Penginapan dan Kemudahan Pekerjaan 1990
  • Akta 180 – Akta Pembantu Perubatan (Pendaftaran) 1977
  • Akta 435 – Akta Pembantu Hospital Estet (Pendaftaran) 1965

Requirement

  • Diploma in Medical Assistance or equivalent, registered with the Medical Assistant Board and recognized by the Ministry of Health (MOH).
  • Minimum of 2 years' working experience in a clinical, estate, or healthcare facility environment (preferred).
  • Practical experience in a clinic or healthcare facility (preferred).
  • Proficient in first aid, medication administration, patient record management, and effective communication.
  • Basic computer literacy for clinical and administrative tasks.
