Job Type: Full time

Salary range: RM4,500 - RM6,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle the full set of accounts for VAD Capital and its group of subsidiaries (including F&B, legal, and marketing sectors).
  • Prepare monthly management reports, financial statements, and analysis for management review.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Ensure timely month-end closing and accurate financial reporting.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support management decisions.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other external parties on financial matters.
  • Review and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Coach, mentor, and supervise junior finance executives in daily operations.
  • Assist in developing and improving financial processes, internal controls, and reporting systems.
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting, analysis, or special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in handling full sets of accounts.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (MFRS) and financial regulations.
  • Familiar with QuickBooks accounting software is an added value.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (preferred)
