Description

This role is an integral part of the HR team within the Geozone Human Resources Function. In close collaboration with HR Leadership, Global and Geozone HR Business Partners, and other HR COEs, as an embedded HR partner with assigned business clients, the Senior Human Resources Business Partner works closely with assigned managers and employees to anticipate and support HR-related needs and serves as a consultant to management on HR-related issues. 

Maintains an effective level of business literacy about company and business unit financial results, business plans, culture and competition. Responsible for a variety of HR duties as needed to include, but not limited to HR generalist responsibilities, staffing, employee relations, training and development, compensation, performance management, and organizational health/culture.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic HR partner to assigned business clients, providing guidance on talent management, employee relations, performance, and organizational development.
  • Support workforce planning, succession planning, and change management initiatives.
  • Lead HR projects aligned with business strategies and HR transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and HSE standards.
  • Advise on compensation strategies and support budget-aligned decisions.
  • Conduct investigations and provide guidance on complex employee relations matters.
  • Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to anticipate business risks and propose solutions.
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to implement effective HR programs and policies.
Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated success in multiple HR business partnership roles.
  • Strong experience managing people, projects, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Exposure to multi-country HR operations; manufacturing and union negotiation experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance.
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies, performance management, employee relations, engagement, and change management.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Resilient, proactive problem solver, and confident decision maker.

Preferred:

  • HR experience within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Experience in tech-driven environments or organizations undergoing HR transformation.
  • Exposure to workforce localization, job package review, and compensation structuring.
