Key Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and benefits.
• Maintain up-to-date employee payroll records including attendance, leave, and other compensation-related data.
• Verify payroll reports, reconcile discrepancies, and resolve any issues related to salary or benefits.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory filings (e.g., social security, provident fund, income tax).
• Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
• Prepare payroll-related reports and provide insights to management as needed.
• Respond promptly to employee queries regarding payslips, deductions, and other payroll matters.
• Support audits and provide necessary payroll documentation when required.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Candidates must be fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Mandarin proficiency considered an added advantage for multilingual communication and regional coordination.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, Payroll Officer, or in a similar payroll/HR role.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
