How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.
  • Responsible for servicing clients with merchant accounts to secure the settlement of the account.
  • This potentially covers the setup, maintenance, linkage and payments of merchant accounts.
  • Assist Merchants with completing servicing requests
  • Collaborate with multiple Merchant and Payment teams to tailor servicing strategies that meet Merchant needs
  • Resolve complex/escalated service requests with precision and urgency
  • Proactively identify procedural/operational opportunities and implement solutions that lead to improved Merchant journeys and satisfaction
  • Assist Merchants with their operational needs by offering a variety of American Express payment products/services
  • Lead and/or participate in special projects required to support Merchant's key business objectives

Minimum Qualifications

  • An ability to analyze data effectively and implement changes to reduce demand.
  • Additional languages such as Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge and belief in growth mindset, highly accountable and intrinsically motivated.
  • Must understand Customer First ethos and the American Express brand and products.
  • Solid understanding of Merchant Servicing highly desired.
  • Excellent problem solving, time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills as well as proven verbal & written communication skills.
  • Must have a high degree of attention to details with very good sense of ownership and good decision making skills.
