Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to act as the primary liaison between our manufacturing operations and customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all products meet customer quality, regulatory, and specification requirements. This role is central to driving continuous improvement, managing customer relationships, and upholding our commitment to excellence in product quality and process control.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Quality Management & Liaison

  • Serve as the key point of contact for all customer quality-related matters.
  • Support customers in their quality activities and initiatives.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints effectively, ensuring timely and robust corrective actions.
  • Lead and coordinate failure analysis and the 8D/Corrective Action Request (CAR) process.
  • Support the quote and contract review process to ensure customer quality requirements are clearly defined and achievable.

Quality Systems & Process Control

  • Ensure product quality and fitness for use through rigorous process control measures.
  • Perform internal, process, and product audits to verify compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate Purge and Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR) activities.
  • Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the QC operation.
  • Lead and participate in quality meetings to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Continuous Improvement & Team Support

  • Lead problem-solving efforts for quality issues and new product introductions (NPI).
  • Drive process continual improvement to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Enhance the skills of the quality team by identifying training needs and upgrading quality requirements.
  • Prepare and present relevant quality reports for departmental and management review.
