Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Software Tester role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The Senior Software Tester is responsible for designing and executing test cases, analyzing and reporting software issues, and ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications. Key tasks include performing various testing techniques, collaborating with development teams to improve product quality, and conducting thorough quality assurance practices to meet project requirements.

Requirements/Key Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Test Execution and Test Case Creation to ensure comprehensive test coverage and accurate results analysis.
  • Solid background in Software Testing and Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; able to identify issues, troubleshoot effectively, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities to work efficiently with development teams, project managers, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in both manual testing and automated testing, with a stronger focus on automation.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks is highly desirable (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
  • Relevant certifications in Software Testing or Quality Assurance (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.) are an added advantage.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset.
