The Role: Content Creator

This role is responsible for creating and executing engaging content across Xiaohongshu (XHS), Instagram, and TikTok. The content creator will manage social media posts, write engaging captions, do photo post and execute campaigns that resonate with both Chinese and Western audiences. They will work closely with strategists, designers, and video editors to ensure content aligns with brand goals. The role also involves monitoring social media trends, analyzing performance, and adapting content to maximize engagement and conversion.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute content across Xiaohongshu (XHS), Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Manage social media posts, including both photo and video content.
  • Write engaging captions and posts that resonate with both Chinese and Western audiences.
  • Collaborate with strategists, designers, and video editors to ensure content aligns with brand goals.
  • Monitor social media trends and adapt content to stay relevant and on-brand.
  • Analyze content performance across platforms to track engagement, conversions, and audience growth.
  • Execute campaigns, ensuring consistency and alignment with the overall content strategy.
  • Maintain and update content calendars, ensuring timely posting and campaign execution.
  • Stay updated on platform algorithms, best practices, and new features to optimize content reach and engagement.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in social media content creation or digital marketing
  • Proven creative experience on TikTok, Instagram, and XiaoHongShu (RED)
  • Familiarity with content in the F&B, beauty, or lifestyle sectors is a strong plus
  • Strong communication & logic thinking
  • Solid understanding of digital strategy, brand storytelling, and campaign execution
  • Ability to meet deadlines, adapt quickly, and bring fresh ideas
  • Bonus: Experience in marketing, design, UGC content, and video editing is a plus.
