Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of supply chain analysts in organizing and executing the procurement activities with the objective of achieving the most competitive price and effective supply chain for the organization.
  • Manage supplier base to ensure quality level, cost improvement and supply efficiency.
  • Coordinate with selected manufacturing sites to organize supply chain efficiency.
  • Develop strategies in conjunction with the goals assigned by the organization.
  • Assist in the establishment and implementation of department policies and procedures.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Support program and customer to achieve time to market requirement.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, commodity team and supplier development engineers to identify and qualify new suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Materials/ Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • Min 5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Manager, in an EMS or Manufacturing environment.
  • Familiar with MRP systems, preferably Baan.
  • Experience in handling electronics / electro-mechanical components.
  • Effective analytical, planning and organizational skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with employees and customers.
  • Strong financial understanding, risk analysis ability, relationship-building and project management.
  • Able to independently drive solutions to complex planning issues with limited supervision
