Our client is a renowned multinational property developer, well recognized for delivering high-quality integrated developments including commercial complexes, residential towers, and retail malls across Asia, looking for a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to join our in-house facilities management team for mall and property operations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily operation and maintenance of all mechanical and electrical systems including HVAC, chillers, pumps, plumbing, lighting, and fire protection systems.
  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely completion of repair and servicing works.
  • Conduct technical inspections, troubleshooting, and cost analyses to ensure systems perform efficiently and comply with regulations.
  • Manage and update technical documentation, drawings, and maintenance records using CAD and other tools.
  • Support energy-saving initiatives and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Provide technical advice for refurbishment, fit-out, and upgrading works within the mall.

Qualification :

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in building, shopping mall, or property maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with HVAC, chiller, plumbing, fire system, and electrical distribution.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or other technical drawing software.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and energy efficiency.
  • Able to work independently, with good problem-solving and coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM5,000.00 per month
