Sales Executive

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical and personal care industries.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, including manufacturers, formulators, and R&D teams.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, emerging trends, and competitor activities.
- Provide technical expertise on ingredients, formulations, and regulatory requirements.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable chemical solutions for drug formulations, skincare, cosmetics, and personal care products.
- Collaborate with R&D and quality control teams to offer product customization or alternative solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training for clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical companies, cosmetic brands, and contract manufacturers.
- Address customer inquiries and provide post-sales support.
- Work closely with procurement and regulatory teams of client organizations to ensure smooth transactions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Track sales performance, market trends, and competitor movements.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and business updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical and personal care industry regulations (FDA, GMP, ISO standards).
- Stay updated on ingredient safety, labeling, and industry guidelines.
- Assist customers in meeting regulatory requirements for new product development.
- Work closely with marketing, R&D, and supply chain teams to enhance product offerings and customer experience.
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on market needs.
- Support marketing initiatives such as seminars, trade shows, and industry events.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in cosmetic science, pharmaceuticals, or sales & marketing are an advantage.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or technical support in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or personal care industry.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
