Job Responsibility

  • Manage and maintain the company's server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Implement and administer backup and recovery solutions to protect critical data and ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster.
  • Design, implement, and manage virtualization environments using technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V, optimizing resource utilization and scalability.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and prevent downtime.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all infrastructure systems, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing, ensuring that systems can be recovered quickly and effectively in the event of an outage.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, escalating to vendors or other teams as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in system administration, infrastructure management, backup and recovery solutions, and virtualization technologies.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills to effectively analyze information, diagnose complex system issues, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in problem-solving, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Possess excellent listening skills to understand user needs, gather requirements, and communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
  • Have in-depth knowledge and experience in designing, implementing, and managing backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
  • Demonstrate expertise in infrastructure management, including server hardware, operating systems, networking, and storage systems.
  • Possess a strong understanding of virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V, with experience in designing, deploying, and managing virtualized environments.
  • Exhibit experience in disaster recovery planning and implementation, including developing and testing disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, both verbally and in writing, to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
