Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and handle full set of accounts for different clients and ensure timely record of accounting transactions.

  • Responsible for day-to-day accounting functions, monthly HR/Payroll processing, and quarterly goods and services tax filing.

  • Checking, verifying and processing expenses submitted by clients.

  • Ensure all payments and receipts are properly recorded in accordance with accounting best practices.

  • Preparation of accounting schedules, reconciliation of accounts, management and cash flow reports.

  • Ensure timely and accurate month end-closing and financial reporting.

  • Compiling Unaudited Financial Statements in accordance with the relevant accounting standards.

  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned and required by the company.

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent

  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience for Account Executive and 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience for Account Senior

  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with full set of accounts

  • Proficient in accounting software (Xero systems preferred)

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions and data analysis)

  • Mature, independent, and self-motivated with strong attention to detail

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
