Key Responsibilities of this job:

1. Digitalization and Automation:

  • Assess human effort that can be automated by having communication with BUs.
  • Reduced human effort and optimize the process as well as provide analytical information out of the automation solutions.
  • Reduced human error and ensure data governance in place for commissioned solutions/products.

2. AI Research & Strategy:

  • Define product requirements, roadmaps, and success metrics with stakeholders.

3. AI Product Development & Integration:

  • Integrate AI capabilities into existing products via APIs and microservices.
  • Produce proof of concept and propose solution and work towards moving automation or AI product to go live date, (ie: Implement open-source AI agent utilizing internal private data restricted to only a user access levels, develop a private secure avatar endpoint switch/firewall to monitor security of premises with digital assistance capability, etc)
  • Develop a Data Analytics delivery model framework to commercialize Managed Data Analytics.

4. AI Product Performance & Compliance

  • Optimize models for scalability, latency, and cost-efficiency.
  • Ensure ethical AI practices, including bias mitigation, transparency, and compliance (PDPA, ISMS (ISO 27001), etc)
  • Monitor & manage post-deployment performance and iterate for improvement.

5. Conduct for required staff on the job training and assign accountabilities to an automation or AI product development.

6. Ensure staff having clear goals and KPIs established and individual development plan enabling them for career progression.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Data Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
  • Professional Certification – any of the below will be advantageous: ITIL, Certified Data Analyst, Data Science, others as related.

Minimum years of experience required to perform this job:

  • 4-8 years in Network, IP Packet, Cloud Tech. 3-5 years in Automation, AI tools development with hands-on product development and deployment. Portfolio of shipped AI products (include GitHub/relevant links).

Required functional competencies:

  • Extensive experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Proficient in Python, big data tools (Spark, Hadoop). Database; MySQL, etc
  • Expertise in RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
  • Have led multiple systems integration and application development projects.
  • Experience in network device configuration and management using APIs and protocols like REST API, ICMP, SNMP, or SSH.
  • Proven track record of architecting, estimating, and leading projects end-to-end while meeting customer expectations, with a solid solution design experience, business acumen.
  • Able to establish operational processes and build an Agile, Scrum based framework for developing Automation, AI solutions in a DevOps, CI/CD operating model.
