The Role

We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven
Hotel Contracting Manager
to join our
Global Contracting Team
, focusing on
Malaysia and Singapore
.

You will be responsible for developing and managing strong hotel partnerships across both countries, negotiating competitive rates, securing availability, and expanding our hotel portfolio to support Go Global Travel's strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with hotel partners in Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts according to Go Global Travel's guidelines, legal framework, and commercial objectives.
  • Monitor the performance of contracted hotels, ensuring competitive rates, special promotions, and availability.
  • Identify new hotel partners and expand coverage in key and secondary destinations.
  • Ensure accurate contract loading, follow up on operational issues (book-outs, cancellations, payments).
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Operations, Finance, and Marketing to optimize results.
  • Represent Go Global Travel at local trade fairs, industry events, and partner meetings.

Qualifications

  • Based in Malaysia or Singapore - physical presence in one of the markets is required.
  • Minimum
    2 years of proven experience
    as a
    Hotel Contract Manager
    in Malaysia and/or Singapore.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent commercial and analytical mindset, with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
  • Fluent English - additional Asian languages are a strong advantage (Mandarin, Malay, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to travel within the region when required.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with both independent hotels and international chains.
  • Knowledge of the Malaysian and Singaporean travel markets, seasonal demand, and pricing trends.
  • Experience attending or organizing trade fairs, workshops, and B2B events.
  • Strong network of industry contacts in Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Commercially minded, passionate about travel and hospitality.
