About the role

We are seeking a skilled and personable Dental Clinic Assistant cum Receptionist to join our team at Smile Story Dental Clinic in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This full-time role is essential in providing excellent patient care and supporting the smooth running of our dental practice.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and welcoming patients to the clinic in a friendly and professional manner
  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments, including rescheduling and confirming appointments
  • Handling patient inquiries and providing information about dental services, products and policies
  • Maintaining detailed patient records and files
  • Assisting dentists and dental hygienists during procedures by preparing examination rooms, sterilising instruments and passing tools as needed
  • Ordering and stocking dental supplies and materials
  • Performing general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying and data entry

What we're looking for

  • Minimum SPM qualification; certificate or diploma in related field is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in dental or medical clinic preferred (training provided for fresh candidates).
  • Pleasant personality, good communication skills, and a caring attitude toward patients.
  • Able to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work on weekends or shift rotation if required.
