Job Description: Supervisor – MIS / Receiving Department

Location: Village Grocer, Paradigm Mall, Johor Bahru Department: MIS & Receiving Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

As the Supervisor of the MIS and Receiving Department, you will oversee the accurate and efficient handling of goods received into the store, while ensuring that all data and inventory records are properly maintained through the Management Information System. You'll be the key link between operations, inventory control, and system integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving Operations

• Supervise daily receiving activities for fresh, dry, and frozen goods
• Verify delivery orders, invoices, and physical stock against purchase orders
• Ensure proper documentation and timely updates in the system
• Monitor unloading, sorting, and storage of goods to maintain quality and safety standards
• Coordinate with suppliers and store departments to resolve discrepancies

MIS & Inventory Control

• Maintain accurate inventory records in the MIS system
• Monitor stock movements, transfers, and adjustments
• Generate daily and weekly reports for stock levels, shrinkage, and discrepancies
• Support audits and stock counts with system reconciliation
• Train and guide staff on system usage and data entry protocols

Team Leadership

• Lead and schedule receiving team members
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and safety regulations
• Provide coaching and performance feedback
• Collaborate with Store Manager and other departments for smooth operations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Contract

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From RM2,300.00 per month
