Full Job Description:

We are seeking Accountants to work directly with our clients internationally by virtual means. We will welcome applicants who have shown strong progress in a commercial accounting role who has a strong handle of core accounting concepts and has shown a strong, dedicated work ethic.

Role:

As a Senior Accountant, you will have the opportunity to manage a diverse client portfolio, collaborate with senior leadership, and drive accurate financial reporting and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Accounting Cycle Management:
  Handle all aspects of the accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial reporting for international clients with non-profit operations across multiple regions (Pakistan, US, Germany, Vietnam).
• Reconciliations:
  Perform detailed reconciliations of key general ledger accounts, including bank and credit card reconciliations. Be able to handle accounts from scratch when required.
• Month-End and Quarterly Reporting:
  Prepare accurate month-end journals and assist in timely month-end and quarterly reporting, ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations.
• Tax Computation and Filing:
  Prepare tax computations and support the filing of various tax returns, including individual and corporate taxes.
• Client Communication:
  Regularly interact with the CFO and client teams through video calls, providing updates, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth financial process.
• Proactive Solutions:
  Research new tools and software solutions, continuously looking for ways to improve accounting processes and workflows.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience:
  2-5 years in accounting, ideally with Big 4, Mid-tier, or Top 10 firm and non-profit experience a plus.
• Education:
  Tertiary qualifications in accounting. CA/CPA/ACCA or progress towards certification preferred.
• Accounting Knowledge:
  Strong grasp of accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping and financial reporting.
• Excel Skills:
  Proficient in data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.
• Software Knowledge:
  Familiar with Xero, MYOB, Sage Intacct.
• Communication:
  Strong verbal and written skills for virtual collaboration.
• Initiative:
  Able to work independently and proactively solve problems.
• Organization:
  Strong multitasking and deadline management skills.
• Attitude:
