JOB VACANCY: ACCOUNTANT & FINANCE SENIOR (Accounting Manager)

Our company is inviting qualified and capable candidates to join Signature DIY Sdn. Bhd. as an Accountant & Finance Senior. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to be part of our growing team.

Requirements:

  • Malaysian citizen.
  • Male candidates only.
  • Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong communication skills and able to work effectively in a team.
  • Diligent, meticulous, and responsible in completing assigned tasks.

Job Scope – Accountant & Finance Senior

1. Financial Management & Reporting

  • Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure accounting records are accurate, updated, and comply with MFRS standards.
  • Monitor company cash flow and prepare financial projections.
  • Submit management reports to the CEO and board on financial performance.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities for statutory submissions.

2. Accounting Operations

  • Supervise daily accounting functions including AP, AR, and General Ledger.
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and verify supporting documents.
  • Maintain a fixed asset register and ensure proper asset tagging and depreciation.
  • Oversee petty cash and staff claim processes.

3. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts with all departments.
  • Monitor and analyze variances between actual and budgeted figures.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend financial improvements.
  • Ensure expenditures comply with company policy and approval limits.

4. Taxation & Compliance

  • Ensure timely submission of CP204, CP58, PCB, SST, and other tax filings.
  • Prepare working papers for tax computation and liaise with consultants.
  • Stay updated on financial, tax, and audit regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control policies and SOPs.

5. Payroll & Statutory Contributions

  • Oversee monthly payroll processing (OT, allowances, deductions).
  • Ensure accurate EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRD, and PCB contributions.
  • Review payroll summaries prior to management approval.

6. Leadership & Team Management

  • Supervise and guide the accounting team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide financial advice to other departments when necessary.
  • Lead system or process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Conduct internal financial briefings or training sessions.

7. Others

  • Support management in financial planning, feasibility studies, and business expansion analysis.
  • Handle confidential financial information with discretion.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by top management.
