Senior Maintenance Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities across the factory, including Production and Packing areas.
  • Monitor daily maintenance schedules, work orders, and preventive maintenance plans to ensure timely completion.
  • Supervise technicians and contractors during repair, servicing, and installation works.
  • Perform equipment troubleshooting, basic repair analysis, and coordinate with suppliers or service providers for technical issues.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and equipment history records.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of maintenance SOPs, preventive maintenance programs, and spare parts management systems.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with food safety, ISO, and workplace safety requirements.
  • Assist in preparing maintenance cost reports, budget tracking, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Manage spare parts stock — verify usage, reorder levels, and support procurement coordination.
  • Participate in internal and external audits related to maintenance and facilities.
  • Provide training and technical guidance to junior maintenance staff.
  • Support emergency breakdown response and corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Factory Management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in plant or equipment maintenance (preferably in a food manufacturing environment).
  • Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and spare parts management.
  • Familiar with ISO 22000, HACCP, or other relevant food safety standards.
  • Good leadership, planning, and reporting skills.
  • Able to work independently under minimal supervision and handle multiple priorities.
  • Willing to respond to emergency breakdowns or support maintenance during off-hours when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
