About the role:

As a Process Engineer, you will oversee and optimize sub-assembly processes, including cable assembly, connector manufacturing, and manual assembly. You will handle equipment setup, calibration, and maintenance, troubleshoot engineering systems, and lead process improvements to enhance production efficiency, yield, and quality. The role also involves providing technical support and training to production teams, developing SOPs, and ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process Control & Optimization: Oversee and manage sub-assembly processes, including cable assembly, connector manufacturing, and manual assembly, ensuring all critical process control points are monitored and maintained.
• Equipment Setup & Maintenance: Handle soldering, welding, vision inspection, robotics, and other engineering equipment setup, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
• RMA & Quality Management: Analyze RMA parts, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with Quality and Production teams to resolve customer complaints effectively.
• Process Improvement & Project Execution: Lead process development, improvement initiatives, and transfer projects to enhance production yield, efficiency, and reduce waste.
• Training & SOP Development: Provide technical guidance, coaching, and training to production teams while developing and maintaining SOPs and process documentation.
• Safety & Compliance: Promote and enforce a safe working environment by adhering to company safety policies and ensuring compliance with all operational standards.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the cable and connector industry.
• Have an experience in equipment maintenance is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of process control, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficient in data analysis with strong statistical aptitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Our client is seeking a dedicated and hands-on Process Engineer to oversee and optimize manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in cable assembly or connector-related operations. You will play a key role in improving production efficiency, ensuring product quality, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting production teams, all while contributing to continuous process improvement in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment.
