You are expected to support the current Senior Project controller as well as the local Project Controller to follow the financials of a portfolio of projects mostly manufactured in Malaysia.

Project Portfolio financial follow-up as well as global project portfolio support through report building to transition to BI tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Reporting related:
o    Update monthly recurrent reports 
o    Ensure correct Intragroup Invoicing of support hours between legal entities
o    Support the transition to Power Bi reports
o    Running month end close transactions for the MY Project portfolio and eventually additional entities.

•    Project controlling for a subset of the global Portfolio:
o    Carry out monthly reviews of the projects with Project Managers to ensure planned values reflect the operational status
o    Track, understand and challenge margin deviations
o    Ensuring accuracy of the billing plan and timely invoicing to customers
o    Providing visibility to and challenging Project Managers on cash collection
o    Supporting PMs on the quarterly reforecast of Revenues and Margin
o    Ad-hoc support to PMs for specific analyses.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – REQUIRED

•    Proficient with Power Bi (Data Model management, Report creation)

•    Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Controlling 

•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

•    Proactive attitude: trying to anticipate problems to alert or act before they arise or grow

•    Proficient in Excel: comfortable with the use of pivot tables and able to read/understand/create complex formulas

•    Problem solving mindset: willingness to understand the source of an issue and search to workout potential solutions
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

•    Experience with SAP is a plus (especially with the PS module)
