About the role
This is a full-time Account Clerk role with Lian Hoe Huat Enterprise (M) Sdn Bhd, based in Kulai Johor. Reporting to the Finance Supervisor , you will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting support to ensure the smooth running of the company's financial operations.
What you'll be doing
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform month-end and year-end accounting tasks such as reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and files
- Support the Finance team with ad-hoc projects and analyses as required
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and procedures
What we're looking for
- Degree or diploma in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail
- Proficient in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and MS Office applications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations
