Job Functions / Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Responsible for the procurement and bidding of administrative support equipment.
  • Responsible for the procurement management of maintenance operating materials and spare parts.
  • Responsible for the procurement management of third-party services.
  • Responsible for supplier resource development, introducing high-quality suppliers in accordance with company requirements.
  • Responsible for supplier performance evaluation and management, conducting annual performance assessments for each supplier.
  • Optimize supplier management based on supplier performance evaluation results.
  • Manage payment settlements to ensure timely project closure.
  • Responsible for price control and annual cost reduction & efficiency improvement management to achieve cost-saving targets.

Expected qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Automation, E-commerce or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and academic training .
  • Proficient in ERP, SRM, and SAP systems, with data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Timely grasp of material market price dynamics, actively explore procurement channels, and develop suitable and excellent annual, quarterly, and monthly procurement strategies for non-production materials.
  • Possess good negotiation skills.
  • Familiar with new product development and supplier development processes.
  • Rich in supplier resources, with supplier management and relationship expansion abilities.
  • Supplier qualification review skills.
  • Possess cost analysis capabilities.
  • Fluent in Melayu, English and Mandarin(Need to liaise with the leaders of China HQ and Chinese Suppliers)
  • A proficient level of knowledge and skill in MS Office.

Professional experience

  • At least one year of working experience in supplier management or procurement .

  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
