About the role

As a System Engineer at SKA TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD', you will play a crucial role as the supporting team for the project team and maintenance team in the system and network set up for the company project or client. This full-time position is based in Johor Bahru, where you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems and providing technical support to all the company stakeholder.

What you'll be doing

  • Involve in system programming and setup of all the electronics security system.
  • Providing technical support and training to end-users.
  • Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting on all electronic security system.
  • Involve in system improvements designed and overseeing implementation
  • To maintain the security system to optimum performance.
  • Provide technical support for ongoing project or system maintenance.
  • To advise and trained client on the system features.
  • To prepared maintenance checklist and submit maintenance report.
  • Documenting and maintaining detailed records of all IT-related activities
  • Hands-on Professional training from experienced senior or authorize business partner

What we're looking for

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Systems Engineering or IT Support role
  • Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office, Technical Knowledge in ELV Systems, CCTV system ,Building Management System, Access Control, Alarm Handling System and etc.
  • Knowledge in the Genetec Security system is added advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with a variety of different teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
