QAC Manager

The role

As the QAC Manager at Chong Wah Plastics Sdn Bhd, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our manufacturing operations. This is a full-time position based in Teluk Panglima Garang, Selangor (15 minutes drive from Kota Kemuning or Bukit Tinggi-Klang), where you will be responsible for leading our quality assurance and control efforts to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to meet customer requirements
2. Monitor incoming raw materials, production activities and inspect finished goods to identify and resolve quality issues
3. Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot problems and recommend corrective actions
4. Analyse quality data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement
5. Provide training and guidance to the quality team to enhance their skills and knowledge
6. To ensure and upkeep continuous implementation of Integrated Management System related procedures and systems.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role in the manufacturing industry
2. Thorough understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 & ISO14001, and experience in implementing and maintaining these systems
3. Proficient in data analysis and report writing to communicate quality metrics and improvement initiatives
4. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve quality issues
5. Strong attention to detail to ensure that all quality control processes are followed accurately and consistently.
6. Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a quality team
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with customers
8. Degree in quality assurance, engineering, or a related field
