Key Qualifications
- Experience:
- 5 years of engineering experience with 2+ years of experience in commissioning or project engineering within data centers, critical infrastructure, or similar mission-critical environments.
- Experience commissioning complex systems such as electrical power distribution, HVAC, fire suppression, cooling, and backup power systems in a data center environment.
- Proven experience with troubleshooting, testing, and verifying the functionality of critical systems in mission-critical facilities.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure systems, including electrical, mechanical, cooling, and fire suppression.
- Excellent understanding of commissioning processes, testing protocols, and industry standards.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, and IEEE.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for documentation and coordination.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in commissioning or electrical/mechanical systems (e.g., Commissioning Certification, LEED, or equivalent) are a plus.
