Job Description

O2 Klinik is seeking a reliable and professional Clinic Assistant to support our medical team. This role involves assisting with patient care, clinical procedures, administrative tasks, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients, including midnight shift duties.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with registration and provide updates on waiting times and consultation room assignments
  • Support doctors and nurses during patient examinations and routine medical procedures
  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients
  • Support clinical procedures and operate medical equipment safely and professionally
  • Answer incoming calls and handle patient inquiries promptly and accurately
  • Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and medications to maintain adequate stock levels
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment at all times
  • Perform midnight/overnight shifts as per duty roster
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

  • Minimum SPM/"O" Level; Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in a clinical or related role
  • Fresh graduates, Clinic Assistants, Medical Assistants, Pharmacy Assistants, or Radiographers are encouraged to apply
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficient in medical office software and patient management systems
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing patient records
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including midnight, evenings, or weekends as needed
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1, RM2,500.00 per month
