CMM Programmer

Key Responsibilities :

1. Familiar with ISO, ANSI standard and carry out programing for CMM (Coordinate measuring Machine)

2. Carry out Quality Control Inspection using CMM whenever needed and required.

3. Help monitoring and supervising CMM inspector in overall CMM inspection activities and machine handling.

4. Provide guidance and training to inspector in carry out CMM programing and CMM inspection.

5. Work with program and quality engineer in ensure meeting the manufacturing deadline in term of CMM program readiness and CMM Inspection.

6. Work closely with engineering and QC department in ensuring correct GD&T interpretation and ensure inspection point covered the overall customer product and engineering requirement.

7. Ensure systematic CMM programing file control and ensure latest configuration and program has been maintained and used in product inspection.

8. Work with QC inspector in ensure proper file management; Ensure proper file storage of CMM inspection result.

9. Involved in organization APQP, PPAP and MSA activities.

10. Involved heavily in NPI activities together with production, QC and Engineering department.

11. Perform First article inspection per AS9102 requirement.

12. Carry out offline programing with objective to speed up the programing progress and prevent the CMM downtime.

13. Work with IRB team in carry out root cause investigation and CA identification whenever deem necessary.

14. Involved in engineering and customer discussion for issue related to inspection methodology and CI.

15. Monitor & follow up on the CMM calibration / repair and maintenance activities with external provider.

16. Responsible in reviewing the CMM calibration report and ensure necessary action has been taken to ensure machine condition and inspection accuracy.

17. Responsible in developing Working instruction for CMM inspection and operation.

18. CMM Jig and Fixture identification and design to ensure checking efficiency.

19. Assist in data collection and data analysis for measurement system analysis, capability analysis, DOE and GR&R analysis.

20. Support in CMM Inspection activities to meet delivery whenever deem necessary.

21. Carry out improvements activities by improving the existing inspection method and reducing the inspection cycle time.

22. CMM program troubleshooting and developing in process CMM inspection program.

23. Lead and identify the need of QC equipment & software upgrade, machine repair and capital equipment purchase.

24. Feedback any NC found during the product development and inspection activities.

25. Work with Quality Engineer in ensuring correct drawing ballooning and inspection point identification

26. Carry out any additional duties defined by departmental manager.

27. Work closely with configuration coordinator to ensure proper configuration registration, release and use in production

28. Responsible in assisting management in ensuring overall QMS compliance

29. Work closely with Operation team in ensure 100% OTD and Quality

30. Ensure effectiveness of organization configuration control and change control throughout the product realization

31. Ensuring the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization

32. Promote company-wide improvement efforts
