About the role

As a Manager, Warehouse at PKT LOGISTICS (M) SDN. BHD.', you will play a crucial role in overseeing the smooth and efficient operation of the company's warehousing and distribution facilities in Sepang, Selangor. This full-time position will involve leading a team of warehouse personnel to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff during your assigned shifts
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods to meet customer requirements
  • Ensure warehouse operations are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, identifying any discrepancies or issues
  • Provide training and guidance to warehouse personnel to improve productivity and performance
  • Liaise with other departments to address any operational challenges or concerns
  • Implement and maintain effective health, safety and security measures in the warehouse
  • Prepare shift reports and performance data as required

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities to ensure efficient warehouse operations
  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems and other relevant software
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Forklift or other material handling equipment operation licence would be an advantage
