Geospatial Data Management & Integration
Collect, maintain, and update geospatial data for water infrastructure, energy networks, smart buildings, and other critical infrastructure assets.
- Ensure accuracy, reliability, and integration of multi-sector geospatial datasets to support enterprise-wide decision-making.
Asset Mapping & Digital Infrastructure Inventory
- Develop and maintain asset inventories for utilities including water supply systems, energy facilities, building infrastructure, and smart city components.
Conduct field surveys and apply IoT/GPS/remote sensing technologies to validate and enhance asset intelligence.
Digital Twin & Smart Infrastructure Support
Support the development and deployment of Digital Twin solutions for water infrastructure, energy systems, and building management environments.
Assist in integrating GIS with SCADA, IoT platforms, Building Information Modelling (BIM), and smart infrastructure systems.
GIS Application & Cross-Industry Solution Support
Configure and support GIS applications for water operations as well as cross-sector initiatives such as renewable energy planning, smart building analytics, and urban infrastructure expansion.
Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and external partners on multi-industry geospatial projects.
Data Visualization, Insights & Reporting
Develop interactive maps, dashboards, and analytics reports to support strategic planning across water utilities, energy management, and smart city development.
Present spatial findings and operational insights to management and stakeholders.
Capacity Building & Technology Advancement
Conduct internal knowledge-sharing sessions and provide on-the-job GIS training to improve team capability and project efficiency.
- Stay updated with advancements in GIS, AI-powered geospatial analytics, Digital Twin, BIM, and Smart City technologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) / Geography / Remote Sensing / Geomatics Engineering / Environmental Science / Surveying / Computer Science / or related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; relevant experience in GIS, Remote Sensing, Smart City, BIM (e.g., Autodesk Revit), or IT is an advantage.
- Proficiency in GIS platforms such as Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, and AutoCAD Map 3D (or equivalent).
- Exposure to Digital Twin technologies, BIM workflows (Revit), and IoT/Smart Infrastructure systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with GPS, UAV/drone mapping, and mobile data collection tools (e.g., ArcGIS Field Maps or similar solutions).
- Knowledge of water, energy, or smart infrastructure systems is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
- Professional membership with IGRSM and/or MBOT is an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Willingness to travel and ability to work independently while managing timelines and project responsibilities.
