Job Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a team of front-end developers, fostering growth and development.
  • Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and scalability.
  • Define and enforce development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Backend Developers, and Designers to ensure seamless user experiences and timely task delivery.
  • Plan and prioritize tasks for the team to ensure efficient delivery of features and fixes.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and bottlenecks in the development process.

Technical Contribution:

  • Architect, design, and implement front-end solutions with modern frameworks (ReactJS, NextJS, Angular, VueJS).
  • Optimize web applications for speed, scalability, and high Lighthouse performance scores.
  • Use HTML to create user-friendly web pages and design mobile-based features.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, fully tested source code, adhering to coding standards (logging, exception handling, load balancing).
  • Ensure high-quality graphic standards and maintain brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
  • Provide technical assistance during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Gather feedback from users and customers to develop effective solutions.
  • Write functional requirement documents and technical guides.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends.
  • Convert standard HTML into reusable component libraries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Professional Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Front-end Developer, with at least 5 years of proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate teams of 5 or more members.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with different teams and resolve conflicts constructively.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to quickly adjust task priorities for unforeseen changes while adhering to deadlines.
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment), with the ability to provide suggestions and solutions for client change requests.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (ReactJS, NextJS, Angular, VueJS, Redux, SASS/SCSS, ES5/6) and mobile-responsive design principles.
  • Proficient in Git repository management and debugging.

Good to Have Requirements:

  • Familiarity with design tools, Figma and Drawio.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility (WCAG), SEO, layout aesthetics, and web performance metrics like First Contentful Paint and Time to Interactive.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks and methodologies (Jest, Cypress).
  • Ability to create reusable components from standard HTML and address website performance issues.
  • Self-driven and eager to expand knowledge beyond front-end development.
