Job Summary

As a Bartender at Carousel & Co., you will be an integral part of our guest experience, providing knowledgeable service, a passion for drinks, and a welcoming presence. You'll craft signature cocktails, recommend drink pairings, and ensure that every guest leaves with a smile. Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and Serve Cocktails: Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages according to Carousel & Co. recipes and standards.
  • Customer Interaction: Greet guests, take orders, and engage in friendly conversation, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the bar menu, including seasonal cocktails, ingredient profiles, and special offerings to make informed recommendations to guests.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the bar is tidy, stocked, and complies with health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels for bar supplies and ingredients, and communicate needs to management.
  • Uphold Standards: Consistently maintain the quality, taste, and presentation of every drink served.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address customer complaints and escalate issues to management as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous bartending experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of Mixology: Strong understanding of cocktail recipes, techniques, and trends.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse clientele.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds over extended periods.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to multitask while maintaining high standards of accuracy and cleanliness.
  • Certification: Food handler and TIPS certification (or equivalent) preferred.
