We are seeking a high-calibre
Financial Controller (from construction/project-based businesses)
to lead the full finance function and partner closely with senior management in a dynmic company. This role offers clear progression into a broader
CFO-level leadership position
over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full spectrum of finance.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and statutory financial statements.
  • Manage regulatory and compliance reporting (e.g. Bursa reporting, statutory filings).
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
  • Provide financial insights, variance analysis, and decision support to leadership.
  • Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and audit readiness.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance with professional qualification i.e. MIA and ACCA/ICAEW/CPA.
  • Possess at least 10 years of relevant working experience with exposure in full spectrum of finance, Bursa reporting and people management.
  • Commercially minded, hands-on, and able to work closely with senior stakeholders.
