Job purpose
This position is responsible for handling the FAI parts that required quality inspections in ensuring all parts meet customers' requirements. He/she will assist the QA Engineer in implementing, monitoring and maintaining the activities & documentation in the QC Lab. He/she will help keeping our premises clean and follows the company policy/regulation in respect of the applicable law and standards.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
- Responsible on performing physical quality inspection & Measurement (documentation and physical checks)
- Generate NCD reports to ensure appropriate disposition of non-conforming products.
- Assess on-hold material and perform administration of internal claims
- Follow up closely with internal on corrective and preventive actions required related to FAI
- Carry out reliability in activities such as reliability monitoring, customer reliability requests and in-house evaluation requests
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate superior
- Perform verification on the FAI Incoming products need to inspection within a day for new receiving products.
- To ensure no bottleneck at FAI related areas
- Conduct daily review of claims and generate internal claim reports, documents and any related activities
- Perform routine filing on related documents
- Maintain good 5S practices in the workplace
Work experience and education requirements
- At least 2 years hands-on experience in handling CMM machines and various type of measuring equipment is a MUST
- Candidate must have at least 2 years in physical use of handling Faro ARM equipment
- At least 3 years work experience in an industrial assembly/manufacturing environment
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, engineering/manufacturing drawing & sketches,specifications using knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance standards
- Certificate/Diploma in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Quality) or equivalent
- Preferably working experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance or equivalent
- Oral and written communication in English is a must
- Good computer literacy preferred, in example Microsoft Office

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: From RM2,200.00 per month
