Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering their questions about products, and providing a positive shopping experience.
  • Transaction Processing: Scanning items, confirming accurate pricing, and accepting various payment methods like cash, credit cards, digital wallets, and gift cards.
  • Cash Handling: Managing the cash register, counting money to ensure accuracy, and providing correct change to customers.
  • Returns & Exchanges: Processing returns and exchanges for customers.
  • Product Management: Assisting with inventory management, restocking shelves, and keeping checkout areas clean and organized.
  • Problem Solving: Addressing customer complaints and resolving issues that may arise.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Customer Service Skills: The ability to provide friendly, helpful, and professional service.
  • Basic Math & Money Handling: Competence in basic arithmetic for cash and credit transactions.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in scanning items, pricing, and payment processing.
  • Communication Skills: Clear verbal communication to interact effectively with customers.
  • Tech Proficiency: Ability to operate cash registers, scanners, and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Ability to Multitask: Juggling various tasks in a fast-paced environment.
