Executive / Assistant - Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable

Job Summary :

The Executive or Assistant - AP / AR ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.

Key Responsibilities For Accounts Payable :

  1. Preparation of all Creditors Reconciliation
  2. Tracker file for all existing suppliers' and upload in server
  3. Prepare payments with all invoices prepared before hand for senior to review ( scheduling )
  4. Perform proper archiving of documents
  5. Issue Debit Note ("DN") & Credit Note ("CN") where required and follow up outstanding invoices/Debit Note
  6. Manage all accounting payable transactions
  7. Attend to email / call enquiries on matters pertaining to vendor
  8. Handle monthly and annual closings
  9. Maintain vendor records and ensure the accuracy of vendor information in the system.
  10. Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and account reconciliations.
  11. Liaise with stakeholders/ inform seniors any irregularities on purchases/ invoices not being perform receiving by outlets
  12. Ad-Hoc Tasks: Be flexible and ready to undertake any ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors to support the finance team's objectives.

Key Responsibilities For Accounts Receivable :

  1. Perform daily cash/credit card/cashless payments tracking for all outlets.
  2. Perform monthly bank, receivables and vouchers reconciliations.
  3. Issues invoices to customers as at when needed and send monthly gross sales statement to landlords.
  4. Responsible for maintaining and filling of complete records of business transactions.
  5. Liaise with stakeholders if have any discrepancies (Collections shortage and vice versa).
  6. Monthly filing of outlets end of day sales reports and slips etc.
  7. Assist in monthly closing, general ledger modules, schedules etc.
  8. Perform balance sheet analysis and identify any deficiency in controls and provide solutions to improve.
  9. Ensures all accounting documents are posted accurately and on a timely basis.
  10. Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors/management from time to time.

Job Requirements :

1.Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.

  1. Preferably Executives with at least 1 year(s) of related working experience in retail/f&b.

3.Responsible, positive attitude, mature and able to work independently.

  1. Willing to work in SS15 Subang Jaya.

  2. Full-Time position available.

  3. Candidates who can start work immediately will be advantages.
