Role Purpose

The
Product Engineer – Data & AI
plays a pioneering role in transforming our data and analytics projects into scalable, productized solutions built on Microsoft Fabric. This role involves full-stack development using the Fabric Extensibility Kit, integrating data, AI, and app components into reusable accelerators and SaaS-ready offerings. As one of the first hires in this space, the Product Engineer will help shape our solution IP and product development framework — bridging data engineering, AI integration, and modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build end-to-end, full-stack applications and accelerators leveraging the
    Microsoft Fabric Extensibility Kit
    and Azure Data & AI services.
  • Convert successful
    project implementations
    into
    reusable, standardized, and deployable solutions
    ready for commercialization or SaaS delivery.
  • Design and implement
    front-end interfaces
    ,
    back-end logic
    , and
    data pipelines
    that work seamlessly within the Fabric environment.
  • Collaborate with consultants, architects, and AI specialists to embed data models, analytics, and GenAI capabilities into productized solutions.
  • Maintain and evolve an internal
    IP library
    of reusable components, solution templates, and reference architectures.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code aligned with software engineering best practices.
  • Experiment with emerging Microsoft and open-source tools to extend solution capabilities and improve performance.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in software or full-stack development (internship experience acceptable).
  • Proficiency in
    Python
    ,
    TypeScript/JavaScript
    ,
    SQL
    , and modern web frameworks (React preferred).
  • Strong understanding of
    data engineering and analytics concepts
    — ETL, data modeling, APIs, and visualization.
  • Familiarity with
    Microsoft Fabric

    Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Cosmos DB, AI Services)
    , or similar platforms.
  • Good problem-solving and architectural thinking skills; able to bridge business requirements with technical design.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a pioneering mindset — eager to help define how Data & AI solutions become scalable products.
