NettSys is a full-stack development company specializing in building business applications, including distributed web, cloud-based, and mobile solutions for a diverse range of clients.

We are expanding our development team to strengthen our capabilities in PHP and open-source technologies, delivering scalable and secure systems for enterprise and government clients.


The Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer (PHP / Open Source Stack) with a strong focus on Laravel and hands-on skills in frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular). You will be involved in the full application lifecycle — from backend APIs to frontend interfaces — working on enterprise-level applications and integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications primarily using Laravel.
  • Build and enhance frontend interfaces using React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Develop and integrate application services and APIs for internal and external systems.
  • Manage and optimize relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, etc ).
  • Apply responsive design, UX best practices, and modern UI libraries.
  • Implement and maintain DevOps processes (Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Ensure coding standards, security practices, and system performance.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and improve both backend and frontend components.
Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in PHP with strong focus on PHP.
  • Proven experience in frontend development (React, Vue, or Angular).
  • Proficiency in OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL/MSSQL,etc).
  • Familiarity with Git workflows, automated testing, and CI/CD.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across full stack.
  • Malaysian citizen with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Preferred (not mandatory):

  • Exposure to other PHP frameworks (Symfony, CodeIgniter, Yii).
  • Experience with or Python for integration tasks.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with messaging/search tools (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Elasticsearch).
